At CEET, we equip communities, youth, and emerging environmental practitioners with practical skills that support sustainable livelihoods and resilient ecosystems. Our training programmes blend accredited courses, hands-on field learning, and locally relevant knowledge to ensure participants are prepared to contribute meaningfully to conservation and community development.
Our First Aid programmes include Level 1 Basic (3 days), Level 2 Intermediate, and Level 3 Advanced – all accredited to ensure participants can respond confidently to emergencies in both community and field environments.
We also offer Health and Safety training, with a non-accredited Basic course and an accredited Advanced programme designed for workplace compliance and safe field operations.
Our Agroecology training (2 days) focuses on household food gardens, indigenous plant knowledge, and nursery establishment, giving participants the tools to promote food security and sustainable growing practices.
The Ecology & Biodiversity Monitoring course (3 days) provides essential field skills, including invasive alien plant identification, wetland fundamentals, freshwater monitoring, and veld condition assessments.
For young people seeking deeper development, our Youth Training Programmes include the full 3-month EcoRanger course and internship opportunities in Ecology, GIS, and Livestock Extension when available. These programmes open pathways to employment, stewardship, and long-term environmental leadership.
